Unlike the last couple of months, Xiaomi has begun sending the security patches of August at the beginning of the month. The company was expected to send it in mid-August as it was doing the same from last months.
Anyways, a few Xiaomi smartphones including Redmi 9A and Mi 11 Lite 5G have already received the latest security updates while the other eligible phones are supposed to receive them soon.
JOIN XIAOMI ON TELEGRAM
It should be mentioned that Redmi 9A is the first Xiaomi device to receive the August 2021 Android security patch. If you don’t know, the security updates are rolled out to improve the security and fix the bugs of your phones. Thus, these are recommended to be downloaded.
