Xiaomi is expanding the August 2021 Android security update for Redmi 9A smartphones in India and Indonesia. The updated versions are V12.0.18.0.QCDINXM and V12.0.9.0.QCDIDXM respectively.

Xiaomi has finally begun rolling out the August 2021 Android security patches for its eligible smartphones. The first phone that is receiving the latest security update is Redmi 9A.
At this moment, the update is only accessible for China ROM. While it will be rolled out for more region users in the coming days or weeks. Anyways, users can identify it via the Android 10 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.16.0.QCDCNXM.
