Earlier in July, Xiaomi began rolling out the MIUI 12.5 update for Mi 11 Lite 4G smartphones globally. Now the update is being released in India. Well, the MIUI 12.5 isn’t the only highlight of the new firmware as it also brings the latest, August 2021 Android security patch.
The changelog for the update mentions several new features and changes over the last version of MIUI. However, when compared to the MIUI 12.5 China ROM, these are fewer. Maybe the company adds them in the future.

Anyways, the MIUI 12.5 will make your phone lighter, faster, and durable. With 20 times more rendering power, there are now few limits to what you can see on your screen, response to gestures is now instant as well.
It further adds new powerful tools in the Notes function such as doodling, sketching, press and holds to adjust the strokes, gesture shortcuts, dynamic layouts for typography, and more.
Last but not least, the August patch will save your phone from bugs and viruses and will improve the security and stability of your device’s system.

The fresh software update for Mi 11 Lite 4G can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.2.0.RKQINXM. To experience it, users will need to download and install the package of 2.9GB on their smartphones.
