Xiaomi has begun rolling out a new software update for Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro smartphones globally. Along with the August 2021 Android security patch, the firmware also brings several bug fixes for a better user experience.
As per the changelog, the issues that fingerprint unlock animation led to crashes, using fingerprints in some apps locked the device, and the device was locked again after successful Fingerprint unlock attempts have been fixed.

Adding to this, it also solves the problems that wallpapers flashed when fingerprint unlock was being used which didn’t allow to unlock the device, and the fingerprint icon didn’t appear or was displayed incorrectly when the screen was turned off in landscape mode.
Lastly, it fixes the lock screen wallpaper was replaced with Home screen wallpaper after fingerprint unlock was used issue. Aside from this, as this is an August 2021 Android security patch, it will enhance the security and stability of your phone.

The new software update for Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro carries the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 version V12.5.4.0.RFDMIXM. To experience it, one will have to download and install the package of 1GB on their smartphone.
