New Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra update brings September patch and multiple bug fixes

Xiaomi has begun rolling out the September 2021 Android security update for its high-end, Mi 11 Ultra smartphones. The fresh firmware brings multiple bug fixes and some new features for users’ experience enhancement.

We all know that the security patch saves a phone from bugs and viruses as well as improves the security and stability of its system. Now going by the changelog, the update adds new fingerprint options to the lock screen, third-party theme compatibility improvements for notification shade, and Dark mode adjustment optimization for notifications.

It further fixes the issues that fingerprint unlock animation kept playing after the device was unlocked, fingerprint unlock animation led to crashes, and fingerprint icon didn’t appear or was displayed incorrectly when the screen was turned off in landscape mode.

Moreover, it comes with the solution for the problems such as the Lock screen wallpaper was replaced with Home screen wallpaper, fingerprint icon didn’t disappear after the device was unlocked, and the lock screen went transparent after Fingerprint unlock was used.

In addition, wallpapers flashed, the device was locked again, crashes, notifications disappeared after an ended call, notification shade opening, lock screen notification animations frozen, and other issues have been settled as well.

It also fixes wallpapers flashed, wallpaper services crashed, wallpaper preview, screen flash, dark mode wallpapers, black home screen background, incorrect voice prompts, text truncation issues for super wallpapers, UI elements overlapped, navigation buttons display, and many more.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is currently running on MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Version. This firmware for the phone can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.10.0.RKAEUXM and can be downloaded and installed in around 3.4GB.
