Xiaomi users having hard bricked while installing the Android 12 update on their smartphones, such as Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, and Mi 11i globally.
In detail, a couple of days ago, Google officially launched its Android 12 operating system for all smartphones worldwide. Soon after its release, several OEMs started testing the new OS on their compatible devices, the Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi did the same.

The company had begun rolling out the Android 12 update for the Mi Pilot testers of its Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, and Mi 11i smartphones. These builds were meant to test the security and stability of the major firmware.
However, some users pointed out that their device is hard bricked while installing the Android 12 update. Therefore, at this moment, we suggest you not installing firmware that carries the Android 12 V12.5.1.0.
Well, the reason behind this had brick isn’t clarified yet. We believe that Xiaomi will soon fix the issues and start the correct rollout for its users in the coming days.

Android 12 needs more polish
The new OS comes with several changes and new features. However, Xiaomi believes, Android 12 needs more polish by Google and app developers. The general manager of Xiaomi’s public relations department states that Android 12 not only adapts a few apps, but also many bugs.
