Xiaomi is rolling out a new software update for Redmi K30 Ultra smartphones in its home country. The firmware brings MIUI 12.5 that mainly installs that May 2021 Android security patch for the system security improvements. It also saves a device from bugs and viruses.
However, the changelog doesn’t explain but we know that MIUI 12.5 brings lots of changes in UI as well as in the settings page, new super wallpapers, new sounds, updated apps, more privacy, more security, and other features.

Moreover, in March this year, Zhang Guoquan, the director of the system software department of Xiaomi smartphones, explained that the MIUI 12.5 update for Redmi K30 Ultra will boost its battery capacity by 5% in terms of screen times.

The new update for Redmi K30 Ultra can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.4.0.RJNCNXM. And, to experience it, users will have to download and install the package of 3.3GB on their handsets.
About device:
The smartphone was launched in August 2020 in China. It comes with a powerful processor, high screen refresh rate, enhanced battery capacity, and 5G connectivity. When talking about software, it came pre-installed with the Android 10 based MIUI 12 operating system.
