On April 23, Xiaomi finally uncovered the Mi 11X series smartphones as rebranded Redmi K40 phones in India. The lineup includes two smartphones – Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro.
Both of the smartphones came with Android 11 based MIUI 12 OS. However, the vanilla model has already received MIUI 12.5 alongside May 2021 security patch, and now it’s turn for Mi 11X Pro to get the new-gen MIUI.

Recently, Xiaomi has begun sending the June 2021 Android security patch for Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro, which carries the updated MIUI version to MIUI 12.5. The official changelog for the update mentions a bunch of new features and functionalities.
It makes your smartphone lighter, faster, as well durable, when compared to the previous versions. Moreover, the update adds powerful tools in the Notes function such as doodling, sketching, press and holds to adjust the strokes, gesture shortcuts, dynamic layouts for typography, and more.
However, the changelog doesn’t explain but we know that MIUI 12.5 brings lots of changes in UI as well as in the settings page, new super wallpapers, new sounds, updated apps, more privacy, more security, and other features.
Update Version:
The latest MIUI comes with the build version V12.5.1.0.RKKINXM. Users can download the package of approx 3.0GB on their handsets to experience it. More details can be gained via the following changelog.
