It’s over a year since the launch of the Redmi K30 Pro smartphones, Xiaomi has even released its successor, Redmi K40 Pro but the phone is still in demand. It stepped into the markets with pre-installed Android 10 based MIUI 11 OS. Later it received Android 11 and MIUI 12.
Meanwhile, as per the new information, the Chinese OEM has now kicked off the stable MIUI 12.5 update for the device. The new firmware can be identified via the built version V12.5.2.0.RJKCNXM. And, to experience it, users will have to download and install the package of 3.7GB on their handsets.

Moreover, the official changelog mentions lots of changes in UI as well as on the settings page. The new setting page has a dedicated wallpaper and personalization page that brings all the customization options in a single place.
There’s Always On Display settings, a new lock screen layout with different formats, icons that now have support for third-party apps, and more. Apart from the wallpaper page, the MIUI 12.5 has a new-looking volume panel. The camera application has now cards like UI, which shows the additional features visually.
Now, aside from the UI changes, the new version makes many system apps uninstallable and removable. Talking about privacy, with this new update, you don’t need to give the exact location of yours to any application.
The updated Gallery app allows you to make PDF by the gallery itself, it also gives you more filters for picture and video editing. Moreover, the updated Notes app will give you a more visual ID for your notes, it also offers drawing tools so that you can make your notes more interesting.
