New software update for Poco F3 fixes screen brightness issues and more

On March 22, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has officially launched its Poco F3 smartphones in global markets. The phone is a rebranded version of the Redmi K40, which was launched in China in February.

Moreover, as many smartphones are still waiting for the Android 11 update, this device came pre-installed with the latest operating system. Also, it is eligible for MIUI 12.5 update.

Aside from this, Xiaomi is currently rolling out a new software update for Poco F3 smartphones in Europe. As per the official changelog, the update optimizes standby power consumption at night and fixes the issue that the screen brightness was lowered unexpectedly during games.

Furthermore, the new firmware can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.4.0.RKHEUXM. And, to install this, users will have to download and install the package of 3.0GB on their smartphones.
