We all are now familiar with Xiaomi’s first foldable smartphone, Mi MIX FOLD. The smartphone was launched on March 30, the second day of the Mega Product Launch Event, and went on sale on April 16.
Meanwhile, on April 15, Xiaomi rose a live broadcast on Lei Jun’s WeChat video account, which presents the Mi MIX FOLD folding challenge. In the week-long ultra-durable folding challenge, the Mi MIX FOLD was folded once every 1.6 seconds, 24 hours Uninterrupted, 7 days in a row.

Moreover, as per the results declared by Xiaomi, the Mix Fold severe folding test has exceeded 200,000 times. It has been continuously folded for 89 hours, which is equivalent to 5.4 years of normal use.
Moreover, there’s a counter in the folding test section which displays how many times ‘Mi MIX FOLD’ has been folded. According to the official, if the challenge is successful, the total number of folds in 7 days is equivalent to more than 10 years of normal use.

The company says the smartphone can be folded up to 200,000 times. And, even if it is just opened or closed 100 times a day, it can be used for more than 5 years.
