Today (April 20), Xiaomi officially released a GIF image, showing the rear side of the next Redmi K40 smartphone or the first Redmi gaming phone. And announced that the device named ‘Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition’ will be launched on April 27.
Now the company has showcased the right side view of the device. Judging from the picture, the K40 gaming edition has a very slim body with a metal frame. The dual physical lifting shoulder buttons, a circle of LED lights that have been added around the camera module, and side fingerprints can also be seen in the image.
Moving forward, we already know that partnered with the famous game “Call of Duty”, the Redmi K40 Gaming Enhanced Edition is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200. Moreover, the device will equip the Samsung E4 material OLED 144Hz single-hole screen and built-in 5000mAh super-capacity battery with 67W ultra-fast flash charge support.
As per the official introduction, it will have e-sports design elements and various game-oriented details and functions. Adding to this, previously, the organization revealed that the phone will be pre-installed with the MIUI 12.5 stable version and will become the first model to run the MIUI 12.5 stable version at the firm.
