It’s 9th of April today and Xiaomi hasn’t started sending the security patch of this month yet. Whereas some OEMs such as Samsung have already kicked off the April patch at the end of last month. We hope that Xiaomi will soon begin sending the latest security update.
Aside from this, Xiaomi has now started rolling out the March 2021 Android security patch for Redmi 7A smartphones in India. This security update will prevent your smartphones from bugs and viruses as well as improve the security of your device.
Besides the latest update, Redmi 7A came pre-installed with Android 9 (pie), it is now running on the Android 10 operating system. And, there are no official words on the Android 11 update for this device.

Moreover, the latest update can be identified via the Android 10 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.2.0.QCMINXM.And, users will need 1.9GB of data to download the complete update package.
