Android 12 based MIUI 13 beta testing started for Redmi K40 Gaming and Note 10 Pro 5G

Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 is about to make its debut in markets. Ahead of the launch, the company started testing its eligible devices by providing beta updates. Last month, Xiaomi began testing MIUI 13 for seven of its high-end devices including Mi MIX 4, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11, Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, Mi 10S, and Mi 11 Lite 5G.

Now the tech giant is expanding the list of devices that are being tested for the new-gen MIUI by releasing the update for Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition and Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G smartphones.

It should be mentioned that these phones have already gotten the Android 12 updates in China. It is expected that the testing phones will get a stable update as soon as MIUI 13 goes official this month.

MIUI 12.5 logo switched to building logo

Xiaomi has switched the MIUI 12.5 logo to the building logo after a recent MIUI 12.5 beta update. The change that took place with the latest MIUI 12.5 beta version 21.11.30, clearly means that MIUI 12.5 is done and MIUI 13 is coming soon.

Previous reports have claimed that MIUI 13 will be released alongside Xiaomi 12 smartphones on December 16. Although the officials are yet to confirm the launch date they have announced that Xiaomi 12 featuring Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip will be uncovered this month.
