Later in July this year, Poco officially introduced a new gaming smartphone dubbed Poco F3 GT in India. Since then the company hasn’t teased any new smartphones.
Meanwhile now, it seems that Poco India is all set to announce a new device in the country. On September 23, Poco India officially declared that it will be hosting a new product launch event on September 30 at 12 noon.

However, the company didn’t reveal the name of the product, but it said, “C U on September 30”. It indicates that a new Poco C-series smartphone is making its way to Indian markets.

Poco C3 is last C-series phone:
Launched back in October last year, Poco C3 is the last smartphone from Poco C-series. It was launched as a rebranded version of Redmi 9C. Since its launch, it has gained huge success in the country.
In August this year, the brand has successfully sold over 2 million units of the smartphone. This was such a short time period of 9 months. Also, the company sold its 1 million units in just 3 months of launch.
Poco C3 Specifications:
Display: The smartphone flaunts an IPS LCD screen of 6.53 inches that produces an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The TUV Rheinland certified screen can effectively filter the harmful blue rays.
Processor: The MediaTek Helio G35 chipset drives the smartphone.
Software: It came pre-installed with Android 10 based MIUI 12 OS. The Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 updates are on the way.
Camera: It has a front-facing camera of 5-megapixel. The rear side has a 13MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and another 2MP depth assist lens.
Battery: The Poco C3 is backed by a massive battery of 5,000mAh. Sadly, the phone comes with support for 10W charging only.
Other features: It has usual connectivity features like dual SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, MicroUSB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Also, the Poco C3 does not have a fingerprint reader, while the Redmi 9C features it on its back.
