Latest MIUI 12.5 beta update comes with some bug fixes

Xiaomi has kicked off a new MIUI 12.5 beta update for its eligible Mi and Redmi smartphones. Identified via the build version 21.8.30, the update improves the settings page and Calendar application by bug fixes and optimizations.

Going by the changelog for the firmware, it fixes the problem that the text of “My Device-Storage Space” is displayed abnormally. It further optimizes the view browsing efficiency and the new schedule experience.

Other than this, as Mi MIX FOLD improves the application adaptability of the MIUI system, it is compatible with more third-party applications and enhances the user experience. It is expected that the distribution will be suspended from August 16 to September 06, 2021.

MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Version:

On August 10, alongside Mi Mix 4Xiaomi also released the enhanced version of its MIUI 12.5 in China, Soon after its release, the tech has started rolling out the stable update to its eligible smartphone.

Now the company has officially announced that MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Version is on its way to Global MIUI users. The company has even provided the first bach device list (here) for MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition, which will start getting the update in Q4, this year.

The new MIUI 12.5 will offer all-around optimizations from the core framework level all the way to upper applications. As per the officials, it mainly focuses on three fields globally, which are Liquid Storage, Atomic Memory, and Focus Calculation.
