Eligible Redmi and Mi smartphones are getting a new MIUI 12.5 beta update in China. The update that can be identified via the build 21.8.20, brings a bunch of bug fixes for a better user experience.
As per the changelog, it fixes the problem of missing rounded corners of floating notifications, the problem of occasional background abnormality when receiving a floating notification under the tripartite theme, and the issue that the lock screen notification occasionally jitters when the bright screen is lifted.

As for the lock screen, it fixes the issue that the screen will flicker when the lock screen occasionally turns off. Notably, these issues were mostly reported by Mi 10 users, thus, the fixed will be adapted by Mi 10 users.
Furthermore, it comes with the solution for the difficulty that the notification button occasionally displays abnormally in dark mode and the problem that the notification size occasionally displays abnormally. Additionally, it optimizes the projection experience.
