Xiaomi is expanding the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 update alongside the August security patch for Redmi Note 9 smartphones in Indonesia. The updated version is V12.5.1.0.RJOIDXM.

Xiaomi has begun rolling out the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 update for Redmi Note 9 smartphones in Turkey. In addition, it brings the fresh August 2021 security patch, thus, becomes one of the first phones to receive it.
Anyways, we all are now familiar with the MIUI 12.5 update. It comes with a bunch of improvements and changes. When we talk about its changelog, it mentions a whole new notes app and other features along with speed and stability enhancement.
It further adds new tools for doodling and sketching, press and hold a sketch to adjust the strokes automatically function, and a gesture shortcut that allows you to create notes, tasks, and excerpts anywhere.
Also, excerpts can now save text, URLs, and images to Notes in a few simple taps and layouts bring the typography in Notes to a new level.
