The Mi Pad 5 is currently one of the highlights of all the upcoming Xiaomi products. The device is said to be introduced in August, however, the officials are yet to confirm its launch schedule.
Ahead of its launch, we have heard several news and rumors, while the latest one reveals the key specifications of two Mi Pad 5 models along with their launch timeline.

According to a famous Weibo blogger, the high-end version of the tablet series will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip and the other will be powered by Snapdragon 860 mobile platform.
He said that the main difference between the two is their camera and battery. The Snapdragon 870 version uses a 48MP main camera while the 860 version only has 12MP. They support fast charging of 67W and 22.5W respectively.
He also claims that Xiaomi will release the Snapdragon 870 model first and later the Snapdragon 860.
Previously, it was reported that the lineup will include three models. Along with the above-mentioned two, Snapdragon 888 version was also revealed. Besides, they could adopt a right-angled edge design similar to Apple’s iPad Pro, as well as a thin and light body.
About its display, it will have an LCD screen that supports a 120Hz high refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The other details about the products are still under wraps, which are expected to be released soon.
