Take a look at upcoming Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 in colorful renders and video

A few days ago we have witnessed concept renders of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Pad 5. The renders looked quite different from what we have seen in the previous renders. However, the images only revealed the black color.

Meanwhile, the same concept creator, HoiINDI has published the colorful renders of the device. Along with black, the images show three more colors, which are as follows –

  • White
  • Pink
  • Blue

In addition, the creator has also revealed the 3D design of the product, which gives us a clearer look at the Mi Pad 5. The link to the video is mentioned below.

Well, the design of both the renders (the previous and the new) looks similar, however, the camera setup differs. Previously we have seen triple rear cameras and a flash on the module, while this time there are only two cameras along with the flash.

Moreover, the front has a single selfie shooter on the panel. The right side (from the front) has a power button and a volume rocker. Whereas, the bottom has Type-C charging port as well as speakers.

The MIIT report further revealed that the device with model number M2105K81C will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. Also, the Mi Pad 5 will support 5G networking.

Besides MIIT, the other models that we have previously learned about are K81A and K82, which are said to come equipped with Snapdragon 860 and Snapdragon 888. However, some reports also state that all the models in this series will come with the Snapdragon 870 SoC.

It should also be mentioned that the blogger, who shared the MIIT report alleges that the product will arrive in two variants, namely a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 along with a lower-end version that will reportedly feature a Snapdragon 860 SoC.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 launch date

Last week, some reports claimed that Mi Pad will be launched in August alongside Mi Mix 4 and MIUI 13 while others say that only Mi Mix 4 and MIUI 13 will be released in August and Mi Pad will be introduced later.

Recently, the upcoming product has been spotted at China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) database. It means that the day of the launch of Mi Pad 5 isn’t too far, we’ll soon be introduced to it.
