It’s July and Xiaomi is still working or rolling out the June 2021 Android security updates to its smartphones. Previously, multiple Redmi, Mi, and Poco phones have received the update while the Redmi K20 is the latest to get it.
The security patches save a smartphone from bugs and viruses and improved the security and stability of the system as well. Thus, the June 2021 patch for K20 will do the same.

It holds the Android 11 based MIUI 12 version V12.1.4.0.RFJINXM, which is currently only rolling out in India. To experience the enhanced security, users can download and install a package of around 1GB on their smartphones.
It should be mentioned that the new firmware is only accessible for Mi Pilot testers. It will be available for more users in the coming days or weeks. maybe after ensuring the stability of the update.
