Xiaomi releases April 2021 security update for Poco F3

Later in March this year, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco launched its Poco F3 smartphones for global markets. The phone is a rebranded version of the Redmi K40, which was launched in China in February.

Moreover, as many Xiaomi smartphones are still waiting for the Android 11 update, this device came pre-installed with the latest operating system. Also, it is eligible for MIUI 12.5 update, and as soon as the company began rolling out stable MIUI 12.5 updates globally, the device will receive it.

Right now, Xiaomi has kicked off a new security update for the device. This is a security update for the month of April. As usual, it improves the security of your device’s system and saves it from bugs and viruses. Adding to this, the new firmware also adds new Dolby effects.

Further, the comes with the Android 11 based MIUI 12 built version V12.0.3.0.RKHMIXM. And, as it weighs 5.4GB, it is recommended that users would download it by a WiFi network instead of mobile data.
