April 19, 2021:
Redmi 9A has begun collecting a new software update globally. This update mainly installs the April 2021 Android security patch for better system security and users’ experience enhancement.
Moreover, it brings the Android 10 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.12.0.QCDMIXM and users can install this update on their smartphones by download the package of 1.7GB.
Aside from this, the OEM has recently begun sending the stable MIUI 12.5 update in China. The company has already completed its first phase and will start the second phase by the end of this month.
However, the Redmi 9A is not eligible for the second phase but is eligible for stable MIUI 12.5 and will soon receive the update. Anyways, interested viewers can check the changelog for the new update below.
