Redmi Note 10 series phones have various display issues, Xiaomi to fix them soon

Redmi Note 10

The Redmi Note 10 lineup is among the most popular and demanding phones on the market right now. The smartphones come with amazing features such as the latest Android 11, 5000mAh battery, huge storage, and more at a starting price of just ₹11,999 (approx USD 160).

But a new report claims that not everything is going smoothly with smartphones and users began to complain about problems that were found in the main component of the smartphone – the display.

It is not just a matter of one smartphone from the series but owners of different models of the whole lineup are complaining about their phone’s display. They are tweeting complaints about automatic display freezes, responsiveness issues, and excessive flickering when the screen is in 120Hz mode or when dark mode is activated.

One of those users said that after he encountered problems with the display of the Redmi Note 10, he replaced it with a new one in the service department. But, unfortunately, the new device turned out to be defective as well and has reportedly stated that the issue in question is due to a software glitch.

Another Redmi Note 10 Pro owner complains about the display flickering that takes while using 120Hz mode. By activating the standard 60Hz, the flicker can be reduced. Other users complained about a similar defect, but it appears when the dark theme is turned on.

However, the company is aware of all these complaints and has recently released a statement. According to Xiaomi, the display issues are in a very small batch of Redmi Note 10 series smartphones and the company is taking all steps in finding a solution. The full statement is as follows –

“We are aware of the issues that a few users are facing on Redmi Note 10 Pro. These issues have been reported by less than 0.001% of Note 10 series user base. We are working to find a solution at the earliest. As a committed brand, our endeavor is to continue delivering on our consumer expectations.

Our devices go through rigorous tests with a 10-point quality check, to ensure that we meet the highest quality standards. We are looking into the matter on top priority and regret the inconvenience caused to our consumers.”

Redmi Note 10:

The Redmi Note 10 series includes various smartphones. In India, it has three models – Redmi Note 10, Note Pro, and Note 10 Pro Max. Whereas, in Globe, it has four models – Redmi Note 10, Note 10 5G, Note 10 Pro, and Note 10S.

All the devices from the series feature an AMOLED screen except for the Rdmi Note 10 5G, which has an LCD screen. Moreover, the phones offer a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The handsets aren’t too costly but as a smartphone user, it is very disappointing to have such kinds of problems with our phones.
