Xiaomi has recently begun sending the new MIUI 12.5 beta update for its eligible smartphones in China. Some devices such as Mi 11, Mi 10 Ultra, and Mi 9 SE have already received the update. Among them, Mi 10 Ultra becomes the first Xiaomi phone to receive the new-gen MIUI.

On the other side, the Chinese OEM is regularly sending new MIUI 12.5 beta updates in China. Currently, it is receiving version 21.4.2, and as per the changelog, the update optimizes product experience and the effectiveness of traffic data.

Other than this, due to the stuttering problem in certain scenarios, the release of Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10, Mi 10 Ultra, Redmi K40, Mi 10S, and Redmi K30 Pro is temporarily suspended today.
Starting from April 24, 2021, Redmi Note7, Redmi Note7 Pro, Mi CC9e will stop the development version internal beta.
Aside from the beta update, Xiaomi India’s CEO recently confirmed that MIUI 12.5 is not too away from the Indian consumers. Also, he said that the new version will be the cleanest UI in the country.
