MIUI 12 development version now available for Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra

On March 29. Xiaomi officially uncovered its few new products including Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra in China. The smartphones came pre-installed with the latest Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 operating system.

Meanwhile, now, Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and 11 Ultra have opened the MIUI 12 development version internal/public beta application. After the application is successful, you will receive continuous MIUI system updates.

Interested Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra users can apply for the development version internal test via Xiaomi Community > Me > My Inside, and then wait patiently to pass the review of the development team to join the development version of the public beta.

  • This public beta is expected to be released shortly, only supports card swiping, not online swiping.
  • Public test = public test, the version is unstable, please be sure to back up important data to the cloud service or local computer before upgrading.
  • During the test period, if you have any suggestions for bugs or new features, you can go to the Mi Community Product Circle-Development Beta Circle or user feedback App to submit.
  • Using public beta flashing package to make illegal profits is prohibited. Once this phenomenon is discovered, the upgrade authority will be canceled and the relevant account will be banned.

Mi 11 Pro specification

The Mi 11 Pro isn’t the thinnest device but Xiaomi manages to keep the thickness under 9mm and the weight at 208 grams even with the massive 5000mAh battery.

The phone has a 6.81-inch curved Samsung E4 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. There is a Snapdragon 888 processor powering it and it is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The Mi 11 Pro runs MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box. Its 5000mAh battery supports 67W wired/wireless fast charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. It is able to be fully charged in just 36 minutes. Also, there is a phase-changing cooling system that helps to keep the device cool.

Mi 11 Ultra Specification

The Mi 11 Ultra also features a Snapdragon 888 SoC, an IP68 rating for the first time in a Xiaomi phone, a WQHD+ 120Hz OLED screen, and a tiny 1.1-inch rear screen for selfie previews and notifications.

Other notable features include a 5,000mAh battery, 67W wired/wireless charging, and an impressive rear camera setup (50MP main, 48MP ultra-wide, 48MP 5X periscope). Also, it runs Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 out of the box.
