Xiaomi has recently begun rolling out stable MIUI 12.5 updates for its eligible smartphones. Some devices such as Mi 10 Ultra, Mi 11, and Mi 9 SE have already received the update. Among them, Mi 10 Ulta becomes the first phone to collect it.
Now the OEM has begun sending the stable MIUI 12.5 for Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro smartphones in China. Adding to this, the company is also sending March 2021 security update for the devices.
JOIN XIAOMI ON TELEGRAM
Moving forward, in December 2020, Xiaomi officially released MIUI 12.5 in its home country. Later, the company released it in global markets too. The new-gen MIUI comes with a lot of changes over the past versions.
It supports Android gesture Turbo in the system, which is an extremely fast response. The computing power is upgraded and different mobile phones are smoother.
It brings system animation design, new light cone dynamic effect architecture, system sound design, hundreds of global biological sounds, new Super wallpapers, privacy protection, and much more.
Adding to this some system apps have also been improved, for example, the updated Gallery app allows you to make PDF by the gallery itself, it also gives you more filters for picture and video editing. The Notes app will give you a more visual ID for your notes, it also offers drawing tools so that you can make your notes more interesting.
Being a smartphone user, we usually unlike that the system application can not be uninstalled or removed. So keeping this in mind, Xiaomi has developed MIUI 12.5 in the way that it is able to remove or uninstall system applications.

Aside from this, the new update also fixes some known bugs such as status bar colors weren’t displayed correctly in the Dark mode and the screen flashed after the device was unlocked in Reading mode.
The changelog further mentions an option to switch between connected devices in the notification about media playback, permanent Lock screen notifications in the DND mode, and an option that allows you to restrict opening the Control center while on the Lock screen.
