New update along with February 2021 security patch rolling out for Redmi Note 9 Pro

Earlier this month, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G becomes the first smartphone to receive February 2021 Android security update. Meanwhile now, the 4G variant of this device, Redmi Note 9 Pro has started grabbing the February patch.

As usual, the security update increases the system’s security to enhance the users’ experience. Other than this, the changelog for the update doesn’t mention any new feature, function, improvements, and more.

Other than the latest update, the Redmi Note 9 Pro entered the smartphone market in April 2020. It comes with 6.67 inches IPS LCD display, Snapdragon 720G SoC, and 4020mAh battery with 30W fast charge support.

Moreover, the smartphone comes pre-installed with Android 10 based MIUI 11 and is now running Android 10 based MIUI 12 and Android 11 in some regions.

Coming to the camera configuration, the handset features a quad rear camera setup, a 64MP primary, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 5MP macro, and a 2MP depth camera. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie shooter.

As of now, the February security patch for the device holds the Android 10 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.3.0.QJZTWXM, and is currently sent for Taiwan users. You can check the changelog as well as links to download the newest update below.
