Redmi K40 launch event scheduled for February 25, confirms Redmi’s GM

Yesterday, we have seen Xiaomi officially uncovered Mi 11 in international markets. Meanwhile now, the company is preparing to launch Redmi K40 in China this month.

Moreover, following the new information, Redmi’s General Manager Lu Weibing shared a new poster to announce the launch date of Redmi K40. According to him, the Redmi K40 is scheduled for February 25, 2021.

However, Lu Weibing doesn’t reveal anything about the smartphone, but some old information claims that the smartphone will come with a punch-hole display design at the top center.

Earlier, the device passed the China Compulsory Certificate (3C), which unfolds that the upcoming flagship will support 5G networking and 33W fast charging.

It is also reported that the product could be powered by Snapdragon 888 or 870 SoC and its typical battery capacity would not be less than 4500mAh.

Adding to this, previously, Lu Weibing on Weibo posted the image of Redmi K40’s packing boxes, one is thick while the other one is thin. It indicates that the K40 will either have different variants or it will not provide a charger in some boxes.
