The Redmi K40 series will be officially uncovered this month. Lu Weibing, a well-known face of the Xiaomi group has already tipped that Redmi K40 will have a version equipped with Snapdragon 888 processor which will be priced at 2,999 yuan.
As per the new report, Xiaomi’s all 2021 flagship models will have a large battery capacity. He said the typical battery capacity of the K40 series will not be less than 4500mAh.
According to the information previously announced by the brand, the Redmi K40 series will equip a 4000mAh battery or more. It is also revealed that the K40 will adopt a straight screen design.

Besides this, the device could be powered by Snapdragon 888 or 870 processors. However, there no official confirmation but it is expected to be released on February 25.

Earlier, Lu Weibing on Weibo posted the image of Redmi K40’s packing boxes, one is thick while the other one is thin. It indicates that the K40 will either have different variants or it will not provide a charger in some boxes.
