According to LetsGoDigital, Motorola applied for a surround screen patent, and LetsGoDigital drew a rendering of Motorola’s surround screen mobile phone based on the relevant patent.
Moreover, the front, side, and back of the Motorola surround screen are all covered by the screen, and the screen ratio exceeds 100%. Since most of the whole device is a screen, the Motorola surround screen has no physical buttons, but virtual buttons instead.

It is worth noting that the Motorola surround-screen phone does not have a rear camera, which may mean that the phone uses an under-screen camera solution.
Previously, in September 2020, Xiaomi had shown a surround screen mobile phone – Xiaomi MIX Alpha. It is different from traditional mobile phones. MIX Alpha is equipped with a “surround screen”. The body is surrounded by a whole screen, and the screen ratio is as high as 180.6%.
In addition, the MIX Alpha adopts fingerprint technology under the flexible surround screen, and the traditional earpiece and distance sensor is removed from the top and replaced by the screen sound technology.
