In August this year, Xiaomi began rolling out the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 version update for Redmi 9 Prime smartphones in India. Now the tech giant is proving another big update for the device, which is MIUI 12.5 Enhanced.
Last year’s MIUI 12.5 based upgrade does not come with new features, it brings you a swifter and lower power consumption experience. Also, it only has optimizations in four fields including Liquid Storage, Atomic Memory, Focus Calculation, and Intelligence Balance.
Going by the changelog, the new liquid storage mechanisms will keep your system vibrant and responsive as time goes by. Core system improvements allow your device to make the best of the flagship hardware specs.
New algorithms will dynamically allocate system resources based on specific scenes, ensuring a smooth experience on all models. Whereas, the atomized memory management mechanism will make RAM usage more efficient.
Update Version:
The updated version is based on Android 11 OS – V12.5.2.0.RJCINXM. Since it weighs 2.4GB, we suggest you use WiFi connections.
You can get the download links for the update below. In case you wanna install it manually, head over the Settings of your smartphones. Now click on System Updates > Download and Install. Once installed, Restart your phone, and you are done.
