Launched earlier in May this year, Redmi Note 10S is among the most popular Xiaomi smartphones in India. The smartphone arrived in two color variants, however, in august, Xiaomi uncovered the beautiful Starlight Purple color of the phone.
As of now, a new report suggests that the tech giant is planning to introduce a new storage configuration in India. Going by My Smart Price information, a new Redmi Note 10S variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage will soon make its debut in the country.

Currently, the device is available in two variants in India, such as 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. The prices of these are as follows:
- 6GB + 64GB – Rs 14,999 ($204)
- 6GB + 128GB – Rs 15,999 ($217)
When talking about the price of the upcoming variant, it is yet to be revealed. Probably, it will cost Rs 18,000 ($240) in the country.
Redmi Note 10S Specifications
The Redmi Note 10S has a 6.43-inch AMOLED DotDisplay with 1080 × 2400 pixels resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and 1100nits brightness. It equips Snapdragon 720G processor and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charge support.
In terms of software, it entered the smartphone market with Android 11 based MIUI 12 OS but is now running on the latest MIUI 12.5. Also, it is the first Xiaomi/Redmi smartphone that runs MIUI 12.5 out of the box in India.
Talking about the camera configuration, the device flaunts a 64MP primary camera. It comes along with an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 13MP selfie shooter. Check detailed specifications here.
