Last week, Xiaomi officially announced that it will be introducing a new color variant of the Redmi Note 10S smartphones. Now the tech giant has finally released the beautiful Starlight Purple color of the device.
The smartphone is launched in Malaysia in an 8GB + 128GB memory variant, which is priced at RM 899 ($212). It will go on sale in the country on August 3. When we talk about its design, it significantly differs from the other colors of Note 10S. However, its internals remains the same.

Previously, the device was available in three colors – Onyx Gray, Pebble White, and Ocean Blue in global markets. Now the Starlight Purple has joined the list.

The Redmi Note 10S has a 6.43-inch AMOLED DotDisplay with 1080 × 2400 pixels resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and 1100nits brightness. It equips Snapdragon 720G processor and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charge support.
In terms of software, it entered the smartphone market with Android 11 based MIUI 12 OS but is now running on the latest MIUI 12.5. Also, it is the first Xiaomi/Redmi smartphone that runs MIUI 12.5 out of the box in India.
Talking about the camera configuration, the device flaunts a 64MP primary camera. It comes along with an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 13MP selfie shooter. Check detailed specifications here.
