Xiaomi is releasing a new MIUI 12.5 beta update for its eligible Mi and Redmi smartphones. Identified via the build version 21.9.24, the new update comes with several XiaoAi changes including optimizations and bug fixes.
As per the changelog, it optimizes the XiaoAi curriculum schedule desktop widget. It now supports to illustrate next day’s courses, adapt to the dark mode, quickly add the XiaoAi curriculum schedule to the desktop.

This update further fixes the problem that the sleep mode switch does not take effect and the issue that the volume of XiaoAi cannot be automatically restored after the sleep mode time expires.
Moreover, the new family voice is now online~ outside the home, real-time intercom, through XiaoAi students can send real-time voice messages on mobile phones, laptops, speakers, and TV, and keep in touch with your family at any time.

Other than this, due to the major version upgrade of Android, the release of internal testing for Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, Redmi K40, Xiaomi Mi 10S has been suspended from September 22, 2021.
In order to give Xiaomi users a relatively better experience in using the test version, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11, Redmi K40 Pro are further testing the system stability, and the test results will be published later.

- September 27th-September 29th: The development version of the internal test is normally released.
- September 30-October 10: The development version of the internal beta, the development version of the public beta were suspended.
- October 11th (Monday): The development version of the internal beta, the development version of the public beta resume release.
