On September 27, Xiaomi introduced its new CiVi smartphones in China. Alongside this, the company also launched its new wearable, Xiaomi Watch Color 2. This is a successor of the previous Xiaomi Watch Color.
Some of the highlights of the new smartwatch are dual-frequency GPS support, all-weather blood oxygen detection, sleep and heart rate monitor, 12 days battery life, and third-party app support.

Specifications:
Starting with the display, the new Xiaomi Watch Color 2 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 60 Hz refresh rate and a 326ppi. Users can customize the display by applying preferred watch face as the company offers over 200 watch faces.
Moreover, similar to other smart wearables, Watch Color 2 also comes with PPG heart rate monitoring and a SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen level monitoring. The other features include sleep tracking, stress monitoring, breathing training, menstrual cycle tracking, and more.
Notably, the device carries 117 sports modes and 19 professional sports modes. It further has a dual-frequency GNSS chip (GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS) so that users need not take their smartphone for locating tracking during workouts. Also, it comes with 5 ATM water-resistant for durability.
The watch not only supports Bluetooth calling and Xiao AI virtual assistant for smart device controls but also limited third-party applications (only on Android). It also has NFC for contactless payments.
About its battery, the wearable is backed by a 470mAh battery, which is rated to last for 12 days on a full charge. The smartwatch takes around 2.5 hours to charge fully via a magnetic charger.
Lastly, one can paint the device with both, Android OS and iOS phones via Xiaomi Wear app.
Design:
Similar to the previous, Xiaomi Watch Color, the Color 2 also comes in a sporty design. It features a metal bezel and weighs around 36.3g.
The body of the watch comes in three colors, such as White, Blue, and Black. However, the makers offer six different colored straps, such as White, Blue, Black, Yellow, Orange, and Green.
The last three straps will be sold individually, while the first three are part of the default package based on the color of the body.
Availability:
At the price of ¥999 ($155), the new Xiaomi Watch Color 2 has already gone for pre-sales in China and will be officially available for purchase on September 30.
