After global, Xiaomi is set to introduce its 11 Lite 5G NE smartphones in India on September 29. Ahead of the launch, a piece of new information about the phone claims that it will be introduced as a Netflix Dolby Vision-certified device.
MySmartPrice says that this certificate will be present on the retail box of the phone, for India. If this information goes true, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE will be the first smartphone that comes with Netflix certified display out of the box.

Moreover, the Netflix certification will allow users to view HDR and Dolby Vision content on Netflix with 10-bit color depth, 100% sRGB color gamut coverage, and more.
This certification works as a way for TV manufacturers to market their products and for users to use this certification as a minimum benchmark. When smartphones tend to have great feature displays that support Dolby Vision, 10-bit color, HDR10, and more, they haven’t entered the certification business yet.
However, with the upcoming 11 Lite NE 5G, all that could change, making it the first Netflix-certified smartphone display in the business.
Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE Specifications
Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G displays an impressive 6.55-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED screen with a 1080p resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset coupled with a 6GB of RAM and comes pre-installed with the latest, Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 operating system.
When talking about the camera, a 64MP Primary Camera, an 8MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera, and a 5MP Macro Camera are placed on the rear of Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite NE 5G. Whereas, for selfies, a 20MP Primary Camera is installed on the front.
Furthermore, the smartphone is loaded with a 4200mAh battery. The battery is non-removable and supports a 33W Fast Charging system. The other features include NFC, stereo speakers, a Z-axis linear motor, an IR blaster, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
