Today, September 22, Xiaomi officially introduced its two new smart TVs in India under its Redmi branding. These are two different sizes – 32-inch and 43-inch with the same features and internals.
These TVs have been introduced in the budget segment. They come with Android TV 11 based Patchwall 4, 20W speakers with Dolby Audio, Google Voice Assistant support, Auto Low Latency Mode, and more.

Specifications
Display:
As mentioned above, the new Redmi Smart TV comes in two sizes – 32-inch and 43-inch. Both the models feature an LED-backlit LCD panel and a plastic build. The 32-inch version wears an HD-ready screen with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution and 6.5ms response time.
Whereas, the 43-inch variant flaunts an FHD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 9.5ms response time. Both the panels have a 60Hz refresh rate and a 178° viewing angle.
Processor:
These televisions are powered by a 64-bit SoC consisting of a quad-core ARM Cortex-A35 CPU and ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. This chipset is paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage.
Software:
They run Android TV 11 operating system with PatchWall 4 content aggregation launcher. This new version of PatchWall was introduced with the recently launched Xiaomi Mi TV 5X series with IMDb integration.
Audio:
The duo use 20W dual speakers with support for Dolby Audio, DTS-HD, and DTS Virtual: X. They don’t feature far-field microphones but do support Google Assistant voice control via the Bluetooth remote control.
Connectivity:
Both models supports dual-band WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, 2 x HDMI with ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and eARC, 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x AV, 1 x Antenna, 1 x earphone (3.5mm), and Ethernet.
Other Features:
Adding to all of the above, the new Redmi TVs support Chromecast Built-in, Play Store, support for almost all the streaming services available in India, Vivid Picture Engine, Mi Home app, Quick Wake, Quick Mute, and Quick Settings Menu.

Availability
As of now, the company hasn’t announced their release date but has confirmed that they will be available during the upcoming ‘Diwali With Mi 2021’ and ‘Amazon Great Indian Festival 2021’ sales at ‘introductory price tags’.
These television models will be sold via Mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Homes, Mi Studios, and Mi Stores across the country.
