In the recent development, WhatsApp has begun testing on the latest redesigned contact card. The new layout of the contact name card has a more high-style look, presenting all info in an easy spotting manner.
Contact cards let people easily share and add new contacts to their phone book. When a user receives and taps on a vCard in WhatsApp, the app will provide a preview and allow them to easily call or add the contact to their phone book.

In addition, users will not need to open the chat section to make calls and see details. To find any contact card, click on any profile in the WhatsApp Chat list and the card will appear in the window.
One can choose any way to contact a person. However, communication options are different for groups and individuals. Check out the preview of the new structure below –
The new contact card replaces a circular profile picture instead of a square photo frame. The contact name is located below the profile picture and has an information button next to the name. Pressing this info button will direct the user to the contact settings of a specific contact.
As of now, the contact options including text messaging, voice calling, and video calling initiation are the same as before. Allows direct contacts to the user if they do not want to open the chat.
Besides, the latest contact card formation is currently in the development phase and only WhatsApp Beta users can get access to this. It may be available for all Android users in the future.
