Over the evolution, WhatsApp has incorporated many new and interesting features in the application, it is no more just a messaging application. Recently, social media application has reportedly started working on Instagram-like message reaction, edit recipient, end-to-end encryption indication, emoji animations, etc.
Now the company seems to be working on a renewed feature that is redesigned contact info page. Remember WhatsApp released a beta update for iOS users in August with build version 2.21.170.12 and introduced a new Business Info page?
The forthcoming WhatsApp contact info is very similar to iOS contact cards when you open your address book. However, on Android, WhatsApp will also allow open status updates. Below you can check the preview of the feature (via WABetaInfo) –
The screenshot shows that WhatsApp will use the same interface that has been introduced for Business Info, but there is a small addition that is the Contact Info page will introduce a search shortcut.

Do note that the screenshot was taken on WhatsApp for iOS, though WhatsApp is also planning to redesign the same page on WhatsApp beta for Android as well. Currently, this feature is under development, and information about the release date to beta testers is unknown.
