Xiaomi is sending a new MIUI 12.5 beta update to its eligible Redmi and Mi smartphones in their home country. Identified via the build version 21.8.18, the firmware improves Game Turbo as well as the Calculator application.
As per the changelog, it optimizes the product performance and enhances the gaming experience by improving the Game Turbo. In addition, it fixes some known issues and improves the stability of the Calculator application.

Other than this, as Mi Mix Fold improves the application adaptability of the MIUI system, it is compatible with more third-party applications and enhances the user experience. It is expected that the distribution will be suspended from August 16 to September 06, 2021.

MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Version
On August 10, alongside Mi Mix 4, Xiaomi also introduced the Enhanced Version of its current MIUI 12.5. This is what the company accomplished in optimizing the MIUI system in the last six months.
The new version fixes over 160 system header problems and 224 system application issues. Also, it brings all-around optimizations for the bottom framework to the top-most application layer.
Moreover, MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition does not come with new features. It only has optimizations in four fields, which are Liquid Storage, Atomic Memory, Focus Calculation, and Intelligent Balance.
Besides, Xiaomi named 12 Redmi and Mi smartphones that were expected to receive this update in the first batch, and as said, almost all of them have grabbed the new version of MIUI 12.5.
We hope that the Enhanced MIUI 12.5 will reach the internal markets very soon. Currently, there are no official words on its release, maybe we come to know some in the next few days.
