It’s August and Xiaomi hasn’t yet finished rolling out the July 2021 Android security patch for its smartphones. In the recent development, the July update has been sent to Mi 10T Lite in global markets.
As the name mentions, this is a security update therefore, it will save your device from bugs and viruses and will improve the security and stability of your device’s system.

Besides this, the changelog for the update doesn’t mention any new features or major changes. Users may notice some minor changes after updating their phones to the latest version.

The July 2021 Android security update for Mi 10T Lite smartphones comes with Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.2.0.RJSMIXM. To install it, users will have to download and install the package of 2.8GB on their handsets.
