Last month, Xiaomi officially announced through an online event that they will release the support of WeChat Payment for Mi Band 6 at the end of this year. It seems that the company has released it before the schedule.
Going by the new information, a Chinese Xiaomi Mi Band 6 user has reported that their band has started supporting the WeChat Pay function. The change has been noticed after the latest update that can be identified via the build version V1.0.4.38_android_165.

According to the officials, this update brings two new features, one is WeChat payment, and the other is a flashlight. Judging from the feedback from the Xiaomi community, this version seems to have removed the Lingnantong transportation card.
WeChat Pay:
In the past, Xioami added a payment method called Alipay to the bracelet and now it is adding WeChat Pay. WeChat Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service by the Chinese social networking site, WeChat. It allows users to make mobile payments and online transactions. Flashlight:
Another functionality that the OEM added to the device is a flashlight. It is a very good feature for students living on campus. It can be turned on to illuminate when getting in and out of bed at night to prevent hitting things.
Mi Smart Band 6 Features:
Earlier, band 6 received support for text message replies. With the addition of this feature, Mi Band 6 has become the first-ever Xiaomi fitness tracker to let users reply to text messages.
