Yesterday, Xiaomi announced the beautiful Starlight Purple color of Redmi Note 10S smartphones in Malaysia. Alongside this, the tech giant also introduced another storage variant of Redmi 9C in the country.
Previously, the phone was only available in 2GB/3GB RAM in addition to 32GB/64GB of internal storage. Now the Redmi has launched its higher 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.

The new model is priced at RM499 ($118). Similar to the Starlight Purple color of Redmi Note 10S, Redmi 9C with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage version will also be available on April 3 in Malaysia in Blue and Orange colors.
Redmi 9C Specifications
Launched back in August last year, the Redmi 9C is a budget smartphone. It is powered by the Helio G35 processor, has a 6.53-inch HD+ display with a notch, and packs a 5000mAh battery. The phone also has 13MP, 5MP, and 2MP triple rear cameras as well as a 5MP selfie camera.
In terms of software, it came pre-installed with Android 10 based MIUI 12 and is currently running on the same. But the device is eligible for Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 updates. Thus, it will soon be receiving it.
The phone launched in Malaysia for RM 429 ($100) while its price in Europe is €119 for the 2GB RAM + 32GB version and €139 for the 3GB RAM + 64GB version.
