After the successful release of MIUI 12.5 for Redmi K20 Pro smartphones worldwide, Xiaomi has begun sending the monthly security patch for it. It’s July and the tech giant is updating the device with the security patch of this month, the July 2021 Android security patch.
As the name mentions, this is a security update thus, it will improve the security as well as stability of your device’s system. Also, it will save your phone from bugs and viruses for your experience enhancement.

Other than this, the official changelog for the update doesn’t mention any new features or major changes. Users could notice some minor changes after updating their phones to the latest version of MIUI.
Besides this, right now, the update is only rolling out in China. It will be rolled out for more region users in the coming days or weeks.

The July 2021 security update for Redmi K20 Pro can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 version V12.5.5.0.RFKCNXM. To experience it, users can download and install the package of 2.8GB on their smartphones.
