Started from March this year, Xiaomi has sent the MIUI 12.5 update for several Mi, Redmi, and Poco smartphones in different regions in the last few months. In the recent development, the update has been kicked off for Redmi K20 Pro smartphones in India.
It should be mentioned that the update has been already sent in China. Anyways, the update in India can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 version V12.5.1.0.RFKINXM. And to install it, users will have to download the package of over 1GB on their smartphones.

Redmi K20 Pro MIUI 12.5 update
According to the changelog, the new firmware completely updated the old Notes app. It adds compose mind maps with complex structures, new tools for doodling and sketching, and a gesture shortcut that allows you to create notes, tasks, excerpts anywhere.
In addition, the Dynamic layouts bring the typography in Notes to a new level. Also, it has a press and hold sketch to adjust the strokes automatically function, and more.
Besides the Notes app, with 20 times more rendering power, there are now few limits to what you can see on your screen. And with custom device model adjustments, the phone will become faster after the upgrade.
After all these, the update also has the solution for the problem that floating notifications weren’t displayed correctly in landscape mode and the notification. Also, it fixes the lock screen notification animations froze issue that occurs after the device was unlocked using face data and notification flash problem that takes place in barely some cases.
