Xiaomi is rolling out a new software update for Mi 10 smartphones globally. The new firmware installs the June 2021 Android security patch, some status bar/notification shade bug fixes, as well as a new camera feature.
Following the changelog, it fixes the lock screen notification animations froze issue that occurs after the device was unlocked using face data and the notifications flashing problem in some cases.

Moreover, the problem that floating notifications weren’t displayed correctly in landscape mode and notification badges weren’t updated for incoming notifications on a locked device has also been solved.
Adding to this, the firmware improves the camera application as calls and notifications can be now silenced during video recording. Lastly, the June 2021 security patch will save your device from bugs and viruses and will improve its security and stability.

The fresh update for Xiaomi Mi 10 can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 version V12.5.2.0.RJBMIXM. To experience it, users will have to download and install the package of 3.2GB on their smartphones.
