Xiaomi launched its first Redmi gaming smartphone, Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition in April this year. The smartphone entered the China market with four color variants – black, grey, silver, and yellow (Bruce Lee edition).
Meanwhile, the tech giant released another color model of the phone this morning. The new color scheme called Inverse Scale, which is available in a single configuration that offers 12GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage.

This special edition phone is priced at 2,699 Yuan ($417), which is 200 Yuan (~$31) costlier than the other color variants with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will be available for purchase at 10 AM (local time) on July 29 in China.
However, the other specs of the phone have remained unchanged. The key features of the product are a Full HD+ AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, dual magnetic gaming triggers for a better gaming experience, and the new MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset.
The camera app is also packed with lots of software features. It has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP telemacro camera. For selfies, it has a 16MP front camera.
When we talk about its battery, it comes pre-packed with a 5065mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. It also supports Quick Charge 3.0 and Power Delivery 3.0. It should be mentioned that this is the first Xiaomi smartphone in China that runs the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 operating system out of the box.
In terms of performance, it has a full range of gaming customization, heat dissipation, screen, charging, and gaming experience. This device comes with JBL stereo dual speakers, Dolby Atmos, etc.
