The release of Android 12 is just around the corner. Ahead of its launch, all OEMs are speedily sending the current Android 11 updates to their eligible smartphones. Well, Xiaomi isn’t different.
In the recent development, the Android 11 update has been sent to Redmi Note 9 4G smartphones in China. It should be noted that the update has been already sent to Globe and Russia ROM users, a couple of weeks ago.

Moreover, the Android 11 update doesn’t come alone, it brings June 2021 Android security patch with it. This security update will save your device from bugs and viruses and will improve the security and stability of its system.
Adding to this, the changelog for the update mentions that the location info can be now reported automatically before the device is powered off. Apart from this, the changelog for the update doesn’t mention anything.
But we already know that Android 11 comes with better features and a lot of changes over the past version, which is Android 10. Thus, users may notice more changes after updating their phones.

The latest software update for Redmi 9 4G can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.3.0.RJQCNXM. The phone is yet to receive MIUI 12.5 update.
