Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra may exclusively feature massive 192MP camera sensor in the entire line

Xiaomi’s latest Mi 11 series is still getting huge success worldwide, as it comes with all of the latest technologies. Meanwhile, the reports about its successor, Mi 12 series have already entered the network.

In the recent report, DigitalChatStation claims that Mi 12 Ultra will use a 1-inch ultra-outsole 192MP main camera. The native 1-inch ultra-outsole is currently the largest known in the industry.

The sensor will also support 16-pixel-in-one technology to produce the equivalent of 12MP shooting effects. Based on the original 1-inch outsole, the company again improved the amount of light and picture capturing skills.

These new capacities will let the camera have top shooting effects in the day as well as at the night. But this ultra-large bottom sensor seems to be too difficult for the internal space of the product. Thus, it is most likely to be equipped with Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra.

Besides, the tipster did not mention the name of any manufacturer/brand of the phone that he wrote about. Still, trustable Chinese media has reasons to believe that he is pointing to the Xiaomi Mi 12 series.

Xiaomi Mi 12 Features

Previously it was reported that Mi 12 Ultra will use Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 895 SoC. Alike Xiaomi Mi 11 that was the first to use Snapdragon 888 chip, Mi 12 Ultra will be the first to equip Snapdragon 895.

Moreover, the Mi 12 series will continue to adopt high-quality screens. It will go a step further, using an LTPO adaptive refresh rate screen which can achieve 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate adjustment.

It means that the refresh rate of the smartphone will be able to automatically adjust between 1 – 120Hz depending on the usage scenario. This will make the device save more battery.

In addition, it is said that the Mi 12 Ultra will use a 5000mAh battery which will support 120W wired fast charge and 70-80W wireless charging capacity. Also, there could be three-state liquid cooling technology to keep the battery safe. However, if a new policy pulls through, the company may not be able to use 50W wireless charging.

When talking about the camera, at the rear, the phone may have a rectangular design similar to SLR, could use a self-developed rectangular lens. It could feature a 20MP, 50MP, and 12MP (10x optical zoom) triple camera setup.

On the front, it could have a dual-camera setup including 32MP and 8MP cameras with the support of a 4K selfie, thanks to the new generation powerful kernel driver and the excellent algorithm tuning.

Last but not least, it may equip IP68 waterproof and dustproof, stereo dual speakers, multi-function NFC, and infrared.
